Masculinist drift... all the way to total blackout
At the heart of a modern closed-room comedy, three young men with explosive digital immaturity barricade themselves inside the “Alpha Studio”, the lair where they industrialize the business of masculinist resentment and mechanical seduction coaching.
Welcome behind the scenes of a live stream spinning out of control. In an age of algorithms and testosterone marketing, the tension builds around the emptiness and absurdity of Stan, Vadim and Marcus’s rhetoric. But when Garance, the eco-feminist influencer, agrees to cross the threshold of their den for a flesh-and-blood confrontation, the virtual veneer cracks. The power blackout triggered by Stan’s paranoia plunges the play into darkness, and the masks begin to fall.
Through fierce irony and a pop comedy of manners, the play exposes the pathetic fragility and disconnection of men who, cut off from the real world, attempt to turn domination into theory.
